Coaching with Music!

'IF MUSIC BE THE FOOD OF LOVE, PLAY ON!'
Shakespeare – from Twelfth Night

Hi from Linda!

I join the Simply Changing Team on the Diploma in Performance Coaching. We have great fun in a day discovering how music can bring about state change, it can improve communication, and be a great tool to tune into yourself and your coachees.
We also focus upon the chakras (energy centres in the body), and ways of using music for anchoring great feelings!

Here’s a little more about myself...

Recently, I founded the ‘Ashbourne Singers’ and lead them as Musical Director. We have a great bond as we all share our love in music. Like all great relationships this bond creates a fantastic team energy where we grow in our skills and confidence whilst having a lot of fun!

I live in Ashbourne with my husband Colin and my two gorgeous boys, Robert and Matthew. I love music and have a Masters in Vocal Performance from the Birmingham Conservatoire. I studied French and Music at Southampton University.

I am a Soprano and love singing solo recitals of mixed repertoire and genres. I love my work as Musical Director of the Ashbourne singers as this enables me to work with lots of skilled and talented people. I also coach people in singing and give private singing tuition to people of all ages and abilities!

I love what I do and I love the way in which music transcends all.  I have been lucky enough to have a wide range of musical experiences including:

  • Giving Solo Recitals
  • Performing various roles in Opera
  • Singing in Musical Theatre
  • Giving Oratorio performances

I have also fronted the South East Jazz Orchestra and provided corporate entertainment with the Satin Dolls. To add to this experience, in France, I toured with a French theatre company which I loved and I have also written and directed children’s shows.
