'Tis The Season To Be Jolly!

'Tis The Season To Be Jolly!

Yes, it's Christmas time and most of us are planning a wonderful warm, festive Christmas, some of us are planning a few days off to put our feet up and then there are people who will be working over the festivities.  Whatever we are doing and what ever we planning to do at Christmas time, it's always a good time of year to think about the things in life we are grateful for.

No matter what is happening in our lives we get the opportunity to remember good things that have happened and here are just a few of the things I'm most grateful for this year.

  • Having Aiden Shingler and Phil Bramhall help me project manage my new home refurbishment
  • Having Toni Scott to manage the Simply Changing office
  • Have a sister like Mary who gives unconditionally
  • Having two brilliant nieces,  Emma Sudall and Georgina Naughton who live life to the full, studying and working hard to create their own futures
  • Having my 15 year old dog Indie still with us, showing me how to make the most of everyday that arrives
  • Having brilliant friends who I can trust, Roz Watkins, Paramjit Oberoi and Teri Carroll being amongst them
  • Having a wonderful supervision and delivery team in Mary Blackburn, Jane Travis, Marie Weinman, Sarah Naylor and Lizzie Sleath
  • Being able to rely on a brilliant web designer Paul Hickman
  • Having the wonderful Grace Weston as a super Simply Changing photographer
  • Having all the amazing Simply Changing Graduates and Developing Coaches out there making a difference to people's lives, everyday
  • Working with Bishop Samuel in Rwanda on a join project to make a massive difference to our understanding of forgiveness and enabling people in poverty to have meaningful and valuable employment
  • Having expertise in Simply Changing that is invaluable through Amy Harding and Rebecca Percival-Hughes
  • Thanks to Steve Kis for his amazing ability to 'tame' my hair
  • Thanks to my two lovely horses Monty and Guinness for staying well and happy and chilled this year
  • Having colleagues I can trust to share in the promoting of great values in Coaching and Psychotherapy at the NCP and these are Ray Freeman, Jenny Lynn, Penny Parks, Jason Fletcher and Kim Morgan
  • Having a brilliant Vet in Nicola Forster at Glenthorne Vets in Uttoxeter for her natural Coaching support through Indie's illness over the past few years

Gosh, I could go on and on.  Now that I've started to think about gratitude, I'm remembering more and more!!  As I'm remembering more and more I feel more 'Jolly' and the niggles in my life have already begun to diminish.

A great idea for a Christmas game perhaps?

Have a wonderful Christmas!
